By Tim Karr ByTim KarrThe online advertising company PPC Ads has said it has found a $1.3 billion revenue boost in the last 12 months from digital ad spending on websites and online ad platforms.
The company said it generated $7.2 billion in revenues for the 12 months ending in May 2017.
PPC, which is based in New York, had $737 million in revenue for the year.PPC said that it had $3.5 million in revenues from its online advertising, including $1 million from a $50 million purchase of ads from Google in October.PNC had $2.2 million in digital ad revenue from its own ad products and digital media platforms.
Penguin Group Inc., which owns The New York Times, has the rights to PPC’s advertising, as well as advertising from other publishers.
The newspaper said it was also buying ads from PPC for a new ad-blocking product.
