When the new advert campaign for the new Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is finally launched on Wednesday morning, the Prime Minister will be at the centre of it.
The adverts will launch on television on ABC TV, Radio National and SBS News 24, and on digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
The Prime Minister’s office has already released a list of events to mark the launch of the campaign, which will include a visit to a local school, as well as a visit by members of the public.
Mr Turnbull will make a statement at 1:00pm local time.
The Government has said that the adverts are designed to inform the public about the importance of climate change, and will be the first time the Government has aired a climate change-related advertisement.
The new campaign will be delivered on the same day as the election, and is part of the Government’s overall push to improve Australians’ confidence in the election result.
It comes amid a series of advertising campaigns that have highlighted the importance for Australians of their vote, including advertisements in the lead-up to the federal election that ran alongside the Prime Ministers first television address to the nation.
The ads will also be available online for those who want to learn more about climate change.
In the lead up to the election the Government launched an online platform that would allow citizens to comment on the Prime Minster’s speech.
